Tinplate –  a material with great characteristics

Tinplate is a cold rolled sheet iron, 0.10 to 0.49 mm thick. Its surface is coated with tin, which is deposited to the material by an electrolytic process.
Due to its special characteristics, tinned sheet-iron protects the products inside from environmental influence and the environment from the products inside the can (hazardous goods).
Tinplate is highly stable, fracture proof, liquid and gas proof, impervious to light and diffusion.
Tinplate is a good sales promoter, as being printed to by using the offset process. Additionally, tinplate can easily be recycled and therefore only low costs occur to the »green point« (German recycling system).

Who uses tinplate packaging?

The above mentioned excellent product characteristics are advantage for many different branches. Accordingly, many goods are filled into tinplate cans: usually, these are honey, paints, lacquers, cooking oil, jam, syrup, adhesives, pesticides, lubricants, printing colours, chemical products for the building industry and fine chemicals...

For our customers, we have already developed many fancy and sales promoting cans, e.g. for games, CDs, manuals, stationary, noodles, soft toys and cosmetics. We also put your product into the can and close it afterwards.

Almost everything can be packed in a tinplate can.
